December has started and this time of year is so busy, it’s good to have a meal plan ready each week.
Having a plan can help you eat out less and spend less money too. If you need a few easy dinner ideas scroll down to see what’s cooking at our house this week.
This week we’ll be eating from the freezer.
We had leftover turkey from Thanksgiving and I made broth from the turkey carcass. So this week we’ll be having turkey soup or maybe I’ll make turkey noodles with homemade egg noodles instead.
We’ll wait and see how busy that day is when it rolls around.
I have meatballs and hamburger patties in the freezer so they are appearing on our meal plan.
My son loves hamburger and homemade baked fries. Once he even said he likes the homemade fries better than going out. That was music to this mom’s ears.
I’ve also included breakfast for dinner and a quick skillet dish too. Both are well under $1 a serving which helps to keep our grocery spending in check.
We have London broil in our freezer from a great sale I found a month or two back. It was just $2.99 a pound which makes for an affordable meat and potatoes meal.
