Christmas is almost here. Are you’re kids as excited as mine are?
Even though it’s Christmas everyone still has to eat, so here’s what’s cooking at our house this week.
We will be having our traditional Christmas eve meal of a snacky dinner. It usually a mix of summer sausage, crackers, cheese with veggies and fruit.
My son also has a special request for Pringles chips. He loves those chips and I don’t purchase them often so it’s one of the must-have items on our Christmas Eve dinner menu.
For Christmas dinner, we will be having ham. One because it’s easy to heat and eat, less time for me spent in the kitchen and two everyone loves it. The rest of Christmas dinner can be made ahead or prepped ahead and will be quick to make. Making for an easy holiday dinner for me.
The rest of the week will be easy to make dinner because, after a big holiday and lots of overeating, it’s nice to have a few simple easy to make meals to round out the week.
